I can actually see the food on my fork, sharp and clear. Such a simple thing, but has me almost giggling ecstatic! I know you other nearsighted people can relate. There's so much that can't be seen without the glasses that we take it for granted until we get back the little things. I can actually make out some facial features on the TV from 8 feet away (watching the Dr. Who marathon). Before, faces were just a Twilight Zone blank. Last time I had my eyes examined, the big E was so blurred I was only able to say it was an E because I knew from yeas of experience that that's what it was (and I told the doc so).
