You bet, Paulette!
Consider the man hugged, in your name!
You know, my own snoring has disappeared since I have been gently adjusting my posture according to the four Alexander Technique statements.
I have written what I read on the Internet, here on CureZone, but there are far more considerations to the procedure than I know. And, since a person's correct muscles are unused to supporting the body (particularly in the neck), altering the alignment even for the better, may hurt, a little, for a while.
I hadn't seen a friend for more than thirty years. She had disc problems in her spine, from sitting long hours on a hard bench at the piano.
Nearly seventy, when I saw her, she was gorgeous...she would stand out in any crowd.
She had been practicing the Alexander Technique for years. Apparently the practice had saved her from a spinal fusion operation.
This is powerful therapy. It takes about a year for the therapy...and three years for a person to become a practitioner. But the fellow who designed it in the 1930's restored his speaking voice. He had lost it from giving monologues, onstage, sitting in an inappropriate position on a chair.
The sheer beauty of great posture is reason enough to look into this.
Another thing that has helped wonderfully with my snoring is Humaworm. We just don't realize sometimes how everything within, and without, is interconnected.
Thanks for the compliment. You make me smile. I appreciate that.
My best,
Fledgling
