Enbrel's been around for a while in the Rheumatoid Arthritis arena. If your EC is in fact an autoimmune condition, it might help. Your doctor may be hesitant to prescribe it because the potential side effects might be worse than the EC. Also, one of the RA drugs is *extremely* expensive if you aren't insured. I can't remember which one... but it might be Enbrel.

If I were to put a product for eczema/dermatitis/ Psoriasis on my lips, I would stick with a zinc based product (not salicytic acid - way too harsh).
