Zymex-Bromelain/papain and killing tape worms EDIT
That's funny, I just came to ask about the same question and you had just posted this.
The Alt. Med Dr. has me on a 90 day program, which I had to make a committment to do the full 90 days, or don't start it- 10 days on, 5 off etc..on a product only available through professionals, not over the counter....and it's also specific for tapeworm/roundworm (REMOVED THE NAME OF THE PRODUCT- When the products are intended to be "SOLD THROUGH PROFESSIONALS" there's a reason for it. Finding it available for anyone to buy via internet without knowing the purpose for it, or what the intended program is for it, is just not right- and the information is NOT on the product- it is in the Professional's manual, and they have the training for the intended purpose.
The other thing I had to make a committment to for 90 days, is to eat no beef or pork. (Yes, I expect the non meat eaters to jump on that one, but that's not what this is about)
It also contains Bromelain. My assumption in why it kills the worms, is they must be protein?, and bromelain breaks down the protein?
Dr. Sutter said the Zymex 2 is an 8 day program, and I'm wondering what the program is too. I had the wrong impression until recently that Standard Process could only be gotten through a professional? (chiropractor etc)-- I've found out through my own experience that there's alot of good products like this that the Alternative Health professionals have knowledge and training in the use of for specific purposes. Bromelain and Papain kill tape worm...how would we have ever known that on our own? (and Zymex 2 has one other digestive enzyme I can't remember the name of)
