I ate about 2 lb per day of it or more for about 2 months, with the intention of removing metals, but I don't think I have or ever had a heavy metal problem. So aside from loving the stuff and enjoying every mouthful I experienced no side effects.
I ate it in salads and made pestos with it. I ate it breakfast lunch and dinner and would still do it if I had access to the beautiful stuff I was getting then.
