I've noticed that I cough up a lot of phlegm after I swish. Think it's almost the same thing. It seems to be pulling this stuff from all over. I noticed that my cold and allergy symptoms were alleviated within 15 minutes of doing the pull. My ears were also draining. Unfortunately the symptoms would reappear by early evening.
