Re: Foods to eat?
I bought the book here in Brazil while I'm on holiday. I don't speak much portuguese and I don't have the book with me so from what I can remember here's what it's about.
You would be surprised in that certain food groups aren't entirely avoided or recommended, but certain foods in that group are recommended, neutral, or to be avoided.
From what little I can remember B-types should avoid all Soya products, tomatoes, pork, shellfish, processed american cheese.
Recommended foods included pineapple, grapes, feta and ricotta cheeses, ovine meats.
He roughly said that recommended foods are to be considered as good medicines, neutrals as caloric food supplies, and avoided foods as toxins.
Also there are recommended servings per week depending on race (white, black, asian).
I think adhering to this kind of diet can help stop cravings and unnecessary snacking.
There are much more expansive guidelines and foods listed, but I can't remember them all, and I think my book was geared to brazilian foods.
You should get one of the books by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, like "Eat Right For Your Type".
