Thank you so much for your reply.... I seemed to start getting UC Symptoms shortly after quiting smoking. Although now.. after 2 1/2 years... and adjusting my diet somewhat I feel better. My Mother told me of a friend of hers that had UC that was TOLD to smoke by his Dr. and has felt better then he has in years... strange huh ? Must be something in the nicotine or something that soothes and relaxes the colon...
