Re: Are air purifiers really good for you?

alternliving,

The key to answering your question "Are air purifiers really good for you?" is doing exactly what you are doing ... research. The posts in this thread are a good start and I agree holmes isn't that great and ecoquest is a good purifier, but do some serious research. My 8 year old said something that made the idea of breathing clean air pretty clear to me, he said "Dad, did you know you can live more than 30 days without food and did you know that you can live only a few days without water and did you know that you can only live about 3 minutes without air"

Do some serious research and consider making an investment in a serious air purifier. Search google under air purifier or air purifier reviews or best air purifier to get you started. Once you pick one, go with a company that will give you 30 days to try it out. That way if you do not like it, you can return/exchange.

PS I'm interested in what Hulda has to say about indoor air environments? Without an air purifier, you can only do two things, "clean" your house of all contaminants (ongoing and tough) or boost your immune system. I think a good air purifier is solid extra protection.

Cheers and good researching :-)
