I know I shouldn't be here laughing when you're out there being so offended and all, but I hadn't even realized that the guy was insane!!!!  Although if you must know, coming from me an inference of insanity is high a complement indeed!!  Some of my best friends have that in common with me.

And speaking of Adam and Eve, I'm sure originally the plan included 'mating' for reproduction, (I mean the right plumbing was already in place) but you know how snakes are, they just slither over everything. After that it was all over, the joys of reproduction became dirty business.

In your original post, when you said cultural I took it to be as in the habits and customs of a particular society as opposed to another.  I couldn't figure out why you might think of sexual thoughts as a particularly American trait.   My bad, seems like you meant socially induced thinking common to human nature as a whole.  OK, think I get it.....I think....

Whatever you meant, I think the widespread prostitution of intimate love is a disgrace for which modern man is responsible, but principally in civilzed nations.
