Re: Can you take a probiotic while on the MC?

A little bit of logic behind the reasoning;
the swf basically kills most proactive bacteria
(probiotics)in the colon. Probiotic bacteria is
of course integral in the digestive process yet
the digestive system is majorly inactive during
the MC. Taking probiotics while on the cleanse
is not effective because of the salt and counter-
productive in regards to giving the digestive system
a break. I'm sure there are other adverse effects/
affects in regards to the cleansing process particularly
in the colon. As mentioned the formula/protocol work
just fine. I think adding any 'foreign' entities other
than the advised ingredients confuses the body and is
not a safe or logical thing to do.

After the cleanse, in about two weeks, the body, via the
apendix, replenishes the probiotics necessary for proper
digestion.

I personally prescribe to this natural method though
many like the insurance policy of added probiotics to
their diet and enjoy positive results by doing so.
I try to eat macro quite a bit and believe that my body's
self generated probiotics are best for efficient digestion
and body function. This is strictly in my case. I don't eat
dairy or meat and am 75% macro.

'Local' yogurt is probably one of the best things one can get
for a natural supply of probiotics, as well as; kefir, natto
& kambucha.

Very good topic and so wise a question.

Aloha,
Detour
