well, it doesn't really matter that he laughs, he should still have to treat you. the reason i picked cavitations, was because he won't have a clue about them and won't really know what is wrong with you, so he should just go ahead do as you want. you don't want to go in blindly and say my jaw hurts and i don't know what it is, because he may run all kinds of tests you don't want and need. what you tell him is that you have had some pain in your jaw on both sides since your wisdom teeth were out and that it is getting worse. you have heard about cavitations and you want a prescription to go get a panorex. if he tells you to go to the dentist, tell him the dentist says you are fine and to go to the dr. i have found with drs, no matter what they say, stick to your guns, keep assertively asking for the prescription for the panorex, and they will eventually give in. they may hate you, but generally, they will do what u want.
