yes, it takes a while for areas of the mouth to calm down. sometimes cavitations have to be re-done in six months or less if they are causing pain, but it is best to wait a year if possible to see how much bone has filled in. Some cavitations need more treatment and some only need one cleaning. i recommend having the bite checked periodically and getting a night guard if you suspect clinching of the jaw or grinding of the teeth at night. beyond that, chelation sounds like something you need to get started on as soon as possible
