Hemorrhoid removal costs?

I have an external hemorrhoid i've had for 10 years. It has gotten bigger over the years. I want to have it removed. I understand there are different types of removal and i'm sure the costs vary. I have no insurance and a very small income. I don't want to pay for an expensive doctor visit just to find out there is no way in hell I can ever afford it. Before I go through that does anyone have any kind of a ballpark of how much it might possibly cost to remove one external hemorrhoid? Would I maybe be looking at $500 total or say $5000 total? No one and no website is willing to even offer any type of ballpark figure. Can anyone just give me a ballpark figure please?
