Huh? The two ads are for a company that provides anonymous STD testing without you having to go to the doctor and for an online pharmacy that, in contrast to most online pharms, requires a prescription from a doctor and has some of the lowest prices anywhere. The site, so far as I can determine, receives no compensation for the ads other than a discount for its visitors. It only appears to me that the site is wanting to help people with herpes avoid online scams.

Inherently, most infected people have fewer and fewer symptoms as time goes by and their immune system becomes more proficient at dealing with the herpes virus at bay. Absence of symptoms is not equal to "cured" in the strictest sense, but it's almost as good from a comfort standpoint and that's really about as good as it's going to get anytime within the foreseeable future.

That's not at all saying that some of the alternative treatment may not help reduce symptoms. In general, anything you can do that safely enhances the immune system is going to be beneficial for dealing with herpes. That would include eating well, getting enough rest, exercising and actively de-stressing with activities such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, fishing and so on.

How do you determine that someone has been "cured" of herpes, since the virus can go dormant for years without any symptoms and the antibodies remain. About the only way I can think of is to do a postmortem examination of the ganglia via PCR analysis to observe the presence or absence of herpes DNA.
