Re: Indigo Child = Bad, self deluded parents

I think in some ... maybe a lot ... of cases this is totally true. I happen to know of a person that touts how his son is an Indigo child. Said child has been kicked out of 2 schools, so he was put into a private school. Was suspended more than he was there. This kid is a whopping 9 years of age. I have seen this kid act in ways that leave me with my jaw on the ground. But hey, that is ok, he's an Indigo child!

I truly believe in special people .... that some people have gifts others don't have, that some people think in an entirely different way than that of the majority of their peers, that some people seem to "work" on an entirely different level. I don't really believe in the label of it. People like this have been around for ages!

Indigo Children, Crystal Children, Rainbow Children......they are just added on tag lines to ADD, ADHD, ODD, etc. Most would agree that the majority of kids "diagnosed" with ADD are just misguided children, different thinking children, and kiddos that march to the beat of their own drum. Why is everyone being sucked into the Indigo label?

Since when is having a metaphysical gift something that puts you in under the stigma of a label?!? Since when is extreme misbehavior not only accepted but looked upon as a gift?!?

I personally will never atest to being anything for the sake of a label.

Spelling nazis - please let me be :-)

peace and blessings all
