Re: Not Very Convincing

Those who claim that 95% of children being born today are "Indigos", are talking New Age nonsense. And yes, I agree, ADD and other so-called disorders are largely due to increasingly poor nutrition, environmental toxins and dangerous vaccinations - and a child who exhibits ADD symptoms is not necessarily some special being sent by God to save the planet, despite what their over-zealous parents want to believe.

However, this does not mean that we should dismiss the whole concept of Indigos. It does seem that there are many people on Earth today - both children and adults - who share certain characteristics, which make them very different from the majority. As I've said before, I prefer to think of "Indigos" as old souls, souls who are born with a high degree of spiritual awareness and natural wisdom, accumulated during many lifetimes. Being advanced souls (NB. I'm not suggesting that they are superior), they generally feel out of place in today's society, they seem "wise beyond their years", and they are highly attuned to their spirituality. Labelling these people seems unimportant to me. They are what they are.

I can't even fully EXPLAIN this phenomenon... I don't like analysing, and I don't think I'm very articulate. I just tried to contribute something to this very interesting debate. And I hope I made some sense.
