Re: to people with ONLY underarm and/or foot odor

same with me - i can NOT smell myself, but I have gotten comments about it for years, so i mean, unless theres some huge Conspiracy out there (which there isnt), I smell!
There is something called olfactory fatigue. What happens is - when you are exposed to a smell for an extended period of time you will begin not to smell it - this is simply demonstrated when you put on perfume/cologne and you stop smelling it after a while
now you might argue that well, we DO smell the cologne and soon as we first put it on, so why haevnt we ever noticed our BO?
Well, I haev also read that we make these incredibly irritating meshing noises in the bones of the feet when we walk, but our body shuts out that wavelength/noise so we dont get driven crazy by it.
maybe our bodies also selectively "block out" our BO so we are not annoyed by it all the time. It does seem like a mystery to me, as im sure it does to you. But i have had people come out to me FLAT OUT and say you smell for years. So I have to go with that. After nomoreodor.com though, I have hardly received any comments, so I know I must have smelled before. Sorry for taking so long to get back, I was busy trying to enjoy teh holidays :o)
