Wow, those are scary beasts! It just goes to show you that any animal can be domesticated a la Born Free.

My husband and I were up by Lake Louise on a road to Emerald Lake ...you have to see this place to believe it!! But wait...here are pictures!!

Any-hoo, just down the road from the lake is a natural salt lick. It was there I saw my first moose. Me in a Plymouth Champ, and a female crossing the road. I swear we could have driven under her stomach. She was HUGE. Very imposing animals.

Saw many more after that, but I'm seldom unimpressed by these creatures.

Amazing that this moose comes back after mating.
