Re: Can I save my time and efforts with FreshLife Automatic Sprouter?

Hello Aurora411 sorry to hear about your mold problems.I also use the easy sprouters and have had no issues with mold. The key to mold control is moist not wet its of utmost importance.Lentils and alfalfa tend to grow into tight masses.Getting the extra water off after rinsing is a must.I just take the easy sprout inner sleve and tap it repetedly against the palm of my hand until the volume of water coming off slows dramaticaly. When the alfalfa gets to day 3 I break up the mass with my fingers to enhance drainage and at day 4-5 I start a slinging action for maximum drainage when the mass is stable enough for such action.Have you checked out the website sproutpeople.com?Sprouting is easy once you get the hang of moist not WET.I have some pictures of my sprouts in the Image Gallery in the photos section under grassmans sprouts.I hope this helps if not feel free to contact me if you want to.Happy sprouting Jeff.
