Re: Lungs/ Pulmonary Fibrosis

Dear Goldeyelet;

I am writing to you because of post that you made in CureZone regarding Pulmonary Fibrosis. That was five years ago and by now you are an expert in this field if you are still around. My mother has just (December 12) been diagnosed with the condition and the doctor is setting her up to meet with specialist. Before that I am trying to find out if there are alternative practices that is out there or any news in the treatment of the P F. Actually the chest X Ray said that and I qoute: Correlation is made with the previous study from January 9, 2006. Once again, there are fine increased interstitial markings seen in both lung bases. Findings are not dramatically different, accounting for differences in position and technique and likely relate to an element of pulmonary fibrosis. lung volumes are reduced. The cardiac silhoutte remains enlarged with left ventricular predominance. there is ectasia once again seen to the thoracic aorta.

What can you advice me.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

worried for my mother
