Re: my ever-worsening skin condition

Thanks for the advice Zoe. A blood cleansing formula is on my list of "wants" right now... and I've got my eye on a cute little Red Clover Combination Formula :) ... I almost have all the herbs on hand to make it myself....almost. Chaparral is among the ingredients presently lacking.

For right now (the past week or so), I've been using BF&C fomentation. This has definitely caused the condition to change... as if this condition did not already have enough varying/change aspect to it! :) It is still too early to tell, but there are some slight indications that this BF&C treatment has changed things for the better....but again, I'm not sure, yet, it's still too early to tell, the change that's been occuring with BF&C has been very gradual, very slow. On top of this, I've resorted to using a modifed method of fomentation. For some reason, the "eczema" condition I have right now seems to be very resistant to the idea of a fomentation that has a vapor barrier IE> plastic, wrapped around it to help hold in moisture.... something about the plastic being in close contact with the skin seems to want to make my skin condition worse, in a big-time way :(

Starting about this time last week, I spent a night (literally) soaking the leg from the foot up to the shin in a bucket of BF&C tea. This seemed to really help put the stop on what had been a previously, rapidly worsening condition. The thing is, one must have a LOT of dried-herb BF&C herb formula on hand in order to do this kind of soak/fomentation on a daily basis for....who knows how long? Since the night of the soak, the main modification to normal fomentation that I've applied is, I do not apply the fomenation at bed time with a standard plastic wrap. Instead, I put the moist fomentation on about 6 hours before bed, then put the foot & lower leg in a bucket, then lightly cover the bucket with a large garbage bag, then just sit that way for the next 4 to 6 hours...it's the last part that is not all that easy to do. However, this modification seems to have put the brakes on the standard fomenation (plastic wrap) making the condition worse. At the present rate, I probably have enough BF&C to last me a good month or two, so I'm gonna let it go as is for now by staying with the current routine and see where I end up. Wish me luck :)
