--Distilled water & pH--
Hi refreshed,
Your question: So the pH of distilled water is not an issue?
Answer: Why should it be an issue?
One needs to decide what the Goal is that one is trying to accomplish and then utilize the Distilled water for that purpose !
Now let us examine the pH idea about Distilled water: For this discussion I am going to consider that the Distilled water we are talking about is water, which has had all impurities Removed and is "Only" H2O !
What is H2O ?
H stands for Hydrogen !
2 stands for two parts of Hydrogen !
O stands for Oxygen ! "Only" one part of Oxygen !
So, H2O means that water has two parts of Hydrogen to the one part of Oxygen !
What does pH measurement mean?
pH is the percent of hydrogen involved in the media in question !
So, Distilled water, which is H2O has two parts of Hydrogen, which when the body takes the water into it's self and the body utilizes the Oxygen from the water, then there are two parts of Hydrogen still in the body to increase the Hydrogen amount in the body, which causes the Lymphatic Fluids, which have absorbed this extra Hydrogen, to then become more Acidic !
So, the very Nature of Distilled water may provide for more Acids to be added to the media, which takes on more water !
And the more Acid a condition is, the more Liquid and runny it may be !
Just look at Liquid water, it is Runny !
But, as the media has it's pH raised to Remove the excess Acids(Hydrogen), this allows for more Oxygen to be present, which may Dry the media out and make it a Solid ?
Look at a sponge, which has been in water(High amount of Hydrogen) and now is put out in the sunshine(Oxygen) to dry it out?
Now we may take water and add Acids like Sulfuric to it and cause it to have a higher amounts of Hydrogen !
Or we can take the same water and add Alkaline Minerals, like Calcium Hydroxide to it and cause it to be more Alkaline forming !
But, the water is still water !
As usual not everything may be as it may first seem to be !
Smile Tis your choice.
