You can purchase a chlorine test kit from a local pool supply store; these also will tell you the concentration of chlorine dioxide that is produced as well.

I do not think that the fact that you got sick on 15 drops indicates an overly strong concentration ... what number of drops were you at before? 15 drops is pretty high ...
