Re: I'm curious - how does the MMS affect sex drive
MMS will not directly affect your sex drive, but there is a complex dynamic unfolding in our bodies when we detox; all kinds of things occur, on every level.
There are two components to the drive for intimacy - the physical and the spiritual/emotional. If you are not suffering from heavy detox symptoms, are you are getting plenty of water, good alkaline nutrition and enough minerals and EFA's (please remember to get EFA's) then there is a good chance that there is an emotional/spiritual component.
Make sure you are drinking a liter of water per 40lbs of body weight per day, and shifting your diet towards alkaline. Also, be sure to get some kind of exercise. And lastly, work on your emotional health ... prayer, yoga, breathworks, walks in the woods, poetry, journalling, etc...
As the body cleans out physically, it can re-focus attention upon emotional cleansing that may need to occur; so, emotional/spiritual things can come up which have been long dormant, or suppressed because of the energy drain required to address them.
I will give you an example, which has nothing whatsoever to do with you:
A man begins detoxing using
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and starts to feel very good after overcoming the first few weeks of heavy detox symptoms. Let's say that he was sexually abused as a child ... he may have long buried that experience, being aware of it but feeling that it doesn't impact his adult life. He is in a committed relationship, etc...
Now, for the first time in many years, that experience of childhood abuse is resurfacing. Why?
Because the body now has the resources to protect the mind, and the mind knows that the suppressed experiences must be dealt with. This process can affect his emotional health, and certainly his experience of intimacy.
This is just one of the many emotional scenarios that may unfold when we become truly healthy, often for the first time in our lives.
