Re: Telman-what would you say about this one w/ CT too?

I wasn't tying to be alarmist, I was just making the point that we need tread carefully. Cream of Tartar can easily be confused with tartaric acid. Cream of tartar is relatively safe but tartaric acid despite being used through out the food industry is a very different substance.

Cream of tartar is known by many different names including: butanedioic acid monopotassium salt, potassium hydrogen tartrate, potassium acid tartrate, tartaric acid monopotassium salt, monopotassium tartrate, potassium hydrogen L-tartrate, Faccula, and there are more.

We can only support the protocols (plus variation) in this forum that we know. If you have an alternate medical practitioner advising you who will support you then that is fine, but if you ask for support on this forum about a protocol we know nothing about, there will be a large silence. The forums has been in this difficult position with my time here and it caused problems.

It is extremely beneficial to to the forum if we can uncover alternative potions which can be better tolerated.

In terms of the protocol you intend to do:
I guess a standard fruit glass is 8 ounces, therefore a small fruit galls is 5 ounces. A quart is 32 fluid ounces so you'll get just over six doses. I assume its a programme that runs for a week. So thats 1.5 teaspoonful of cream of tartar per dose. That doesn't appear to be problem.

The safety data sheet for Cream of Tartar just says that it is liable to cause vomiting or diarrhoea, but we know that already but the search for a cure is sufficient sacrifice. The data sheet for tartaric acid says what I posted earlier a muscle toxic like to caused paralysis or even death.

Be careful

Best wishes

Telman

I shall clarify by earlier post.
