I agree and I would say, both. Forgivness has come to mean just that for me. Healing of self and those forgiven, but really it can only do that when shared. If I forgive another I may act kinder to them but if I dont share with them in words that I have forgiven them, they really dont get the same healing. Unconditional forgivness should be that which is given regardless of whether the person asked for it or not. Its a decision we make to heal ourselves and heal how the offense affects us.
