Re: Psychics are frauds...why?

I have very, very limited experience with folks who call themselves psychic or intuitive or whatever.

However, let's take a look at the all-or-nothing approach.

Clearly, all major league pitchers are all frauds, because they don't pitch perfect games 100% of the time.

Clearly, all firemen are frauds, because they don't always save everyone in fires.

Clearly, all race car drivers are frauds, because they can't all win all the time.

Clearly, all craftsmen are frauds, because they can't make perfect pieces 100% of the time and sometimes actually waste materials due to mistakes.

Clearly, all witnesses to accidents are frauds, because witnesses sometimes provide contradictory information from other witnesses, so they're all liars.

Why do people confuse "psychic" with "omniscient"?
