Re: She seems geunine

Yes. I don't know about psychics. I think we all have some talent along those lines and perhaps we should develop it on our own. I cannot see a person actually making a living in that way. You are bound to be wrong sometimes, and when you are, that is all people will remember about you. This is also a talent people are born with and it can disappear. What does a psychic do in midlife when she is trained for nothing else and her talent has left her?

On the other hand, a show like John Edward can be taped for hours and then edited down to just a half hour of his 'best' work.

I don't feel badly about what they do, for they are more accurate than I am. I feel bad about people spending hard earned bucks for readings, though. But that reflects poorly on the people themselves, and not the psychic.

I think some ministers are doing much more harm in the world than psychics, and are also fleecing the public.

You don't see a band of psychics marching in the street to influence secular political decisions that the rest of us must abide by.

Is there a spiritual side of life? yes
Can people sometimes predict future events? yes
Should I learn to do this myself? if I have the inclination and time.
Should I pay someone else to do this for me? sure, but like hiring out any work, sometimes it will not be done to your satisfaction.
