pinworm prick?

I have a question for anyone with pets and/or pinworms.... Twice recently I had the sensation that when my cat was near me a jolt and sensation of something going into my skin - once on my hand, once on my leg. It was much more intense than just being "shocked" from touching the carpet and then a doorhandle, for example. Can pinworms (or something else) travel this way? Thanks!
