See, this is the problem, sweet dear people with good intentions like yourself were never taught macro-economics in college. Good, decent folks are not taught the basics of how to run a business. My friends don't have the background in fundemental money-management. This causes panic in their own particular areas of life, like yours with the elderly. You really believe that the reason seniors can't make the nut is because of damned 'ol George Bush or (_______ insert Republican here) candidate. I can't and won't change your mind because you really don't want your mind changed. I get that. So this post is for the very few Curezone readers who want some real-life education.

A number of senior citizens DO NOT PLAN ACCORDINGLY AND DO NOT SAVE MONEY FOR THEIR FINAL DECADES OF LIFE. It's not my fault, it's not your fault, it's not Bush's fault. People do not save enough throughout their working years, thus, the burden falls on everybody else to give them a "safety net". America is a "victim state", no truer words have ever been spoken. Seniors are the biggest crybabies in the history of American welfare hand-outs, thanks AARP. Seniors cry, they get what they want. Living longer, Luella, takes a lot of money. Do we have to be a genius to figure that out? No. Lifespans are much longer now, thus the need for more and more money from guys like me. Economics 101. Seniors are putting a strain on the entire system and continue to whine instead of kissing my feet of gratitude for the HBO and salisbury steaks they do enjoy! As are certain minorities, as are illegals, and so on and so on. I can only pay so many taxes to prop up the system then I opt out. I cease. There is no reason for me to get up in the morning if I have to pay out 50% of my gross to the "system". The guy who should be bitch'in up a storm IS ME!!!! The guy who's paying the freight!!! So to whine to me about how bad seniors are doing, I ain't buying it, Luella. For every oldie but goodie you parade around that is eating out of a litter box I'll find you two that eat out at Panera Bread every third day of the week. Seniors are being taken care of just fine, thanks to guys like me who prop them up financially. Where's my "thank you"????

One program, Luella, like the military isn't the problem. Military spending is numbero uno. It's on the top of the list of priorities. Nothing else really matters if you're dead. And if you don't believe other countries want America dead, then you might as well quit reading this and go off to the " Bowel Cleanse Forum " or something. The military MUST be funded substantially. It's expensive buying and maintaining the world's finest equipment, the finest training facilities, the finest volunteer militia. You must pay for a defense or America is no longer. That being said, America's stewards have blown it on wasteful community programs that are an embarassment to any Accountant. Those areas are where you should direct your focus. I never, ever hear people like you, Luella, talk about wasteful and duplicated "midnight basketball programs" or "anti-pregnancy programs" or "job training" or "say no to drugs again" or or or or or. You want to talk about waste!!!!! You're so quiet on those areas...why? Do we really need another print run of 45,000 "Don't do drugs" posters for America's inner city billboards? Could seniors benefit from that wasteful program, Miss Luella?
