No, I am not forgetting anything...I did not write the article...I simply want to know how gays feel about that idea.

I assume you are ageeing with the article when you say the small percentage who are married fall out outside of mainstream gays.
I would be my guess that most male gays are not that marriage minded (because, after all, they still are men), but in my opinion that does not negate that those that do want to marry should be able to. Marriage provides many benefits and emotioanl securities that should not be denied to those that feel the need or desire for them. Gay men might desire committment more as they age. Women, on the other hand, I would think are more into it...but these are just my opinions and I admit they are based on stereotypes of the genders.
I would like to hear from gay people, as they are the ones in more of a position to know.
This is just a gentle inquiry. I am not looking for an argument with anybody. I just found the comment that in places where gay marriage is legal, there have not been that many couples taking advantage of it to be interesting.
