Re: A rounded perspective on ABO diet
My only complaint is I'm finding inconsistancies. For example in his book on diabetes, Dr. D'Adamo has Beans (green/snap/string) under beans as a Super benefical, then again under vegetables as merely beneficial. He could be saying that we can eat green beans in place of pinto beans and that would be a good choice, but it's confusing to me.
Am I going to discard all of the information because I found a mistake? NO! I'm going to listen to my NMD I found in the doctor database on Dr. D'Adamo's website. If I have questions, I know he knows the answers or can find them.
There has to be a reason why diets work for some people and not others. It has to be more than the unsuccessful dieter is just a lying cheat. Someone actually accused me of lying about being faithful to a diet just because I gained 10 pounds. They claimed it was impossible to gain weight on the number of calories I was supposed to be consuming so therefore I was lying. Now I understand that the cabbage soup diet lists contain at least 70 to 80% AVOIDS for Type A. At least what I remember of it.
I was very sick before ER4YT. I've regained health and more energy than I've ever had. I'd have to say there is something to it all. If nothing else, it's very well balanced.
