Post hernia surgery, bump still there

I had a laproscopic hernia repair done about a week ago. I am noticing that their is a lump where my hernia existed before, which runs horizontally for about an inch or so. Could this be that the hernia is back? He put mesh underneath so I don't know if this is possible. Or is the abdominal wall trying to heal? I see my doctor in about a week, so I can ask him then, but am just curious if it is possible that this is the hernia recurring. Tweet
