1. when testing be sure that the pH tester is accurate, ask your pharmacist for a quality test kit.
Urine pH:
The normal pH range of urine is 4.5 to 8, but urine is commonly acidic (i.e 5.5-6.5) due to metabolic activity. So, a slightly elevated pH may be normal.
Saliva pH:
Saliva pH should be between 6.5 and 7.0, ideally 6.8.
One thing to consider...switching to alkaline too quickly can stress the system. For example, if you normally only eat 1 fruit and 1 vegetable per day, then to start alkalizing move to adding 1 more fruit and 1 more vegetable for about a week stay there, and then step it up and add 1-2 more for the next week, and so on.
Last point, when trying to get well keep things as simple as possible and avoid introducing too many new foods because it can thow off your system.
