Stye/Chalazion for 4-5 months. Any suggestions?

Hello - I have had a chalazion under my left lower eyelid for more than 4-5 months.

It is a solid white mass about 3-4mm, about the same thickness and does not hurt, but is literally an eye sore. :)

I have seen a doctor twice about it. First they suggested hot compresses 3-5 times a day to try help it to burst and heal on its own.

After 2 months of trying that, they recommended continuing that plus prescribed some fusidic acid drops.

This didn't help, and I went back again today and got a referral to see a dermatologist, but not for another 2 weeks.

Can anyone recommend anything to help with this? I'd really like them to just cut it out, and it seems like they won't touch it until it gets really big. Although it's not a life threatening problem, it certainly doesn't look good, and I'm dying to get rid of it.
