Re: Natural Progesterone cream making me worse, please help!

I am confused on the Vitamin E. I have read that Vitamin E has estrogenic activity, and can increase bleeding. That is why I haven't taken any yet.

Can the Natural Progesterone Cream increase Estrogen?

Every site I read, has nothing but positive things about how well it works. But I have also read where Progesterone cream is actually derived from wild mexican yam, and wild yam is estrogenic, it also has progesterone activity in it. I'm sitting here angry wondering why in the world I'm being told to use something estrogenic when I am presenting as estrogen dominant!

I'm also angry that my naturopath (which I'm indebted to) acts like this is nothing. I'm miserable and sick. Yet she is saying this reaction is "normal". :(
I put a call in to her again, because I'm crying and alone, and trying to figure this out. And she phones and says that she is going to email me some reading material to put my mind to ease. All this material says is that it's normal for NPC to trigger bleeding, and that this will go on until the body's hormones normalize.

Any thoughts on that?


I don't want to abruptly stop the cream, then it will trigger a bleed, and I just finished a real heavy period. I need to recover. But I'm thinking once the next period comes, I will stop the cream then.
