Re: I have bad cold, can I take iodine?

Most "colds" are cleansings. Do not take Iodine during a detox, which a cleansing is. Be sure it is completely over before resuming iodine.

Regarding Vitamin C for colds - it is good at the first stage. However, if the cold has gone to your chest (don't know what bad cold means for you), do not continue the Vitamin C. You want to detox through your bowels and your kidneys, not through your lungs and sinuses. So you want to do what is necessary to increase elimination through the bowels and kidneys, not the chest. If it were me, I would increase the salt loading, magnesium and probiotics, and leave the Vitamin C alone for now. My cousin, who recently got a bad cold with a herpes sore on her lip and in her throat was taking Vitamin C, unknown to me. She stopped the Vitamin C, increased her eliminations and salt loading, and in a couple of days the heavy chest detox stopped as well.

By the way, on another level, problems in the chest (asthma, pneumonia, colds, etc.) some on when we are in positions over which we have no control. Work on that level as well if you want to get better faster.
