I am new to this forum but have had this condition for an extended period of time. All these theories and Ideas (doctors say) are great but how about some daily management skills to help with this condition. If you are new to the condition or not this can help you throughout your daily regime. I only use Neutrogena lip moisturizer on my lips daily. In order to exfoliate them which I do often, I use a wash cloth typically after a shower to loosen the skin. IV heard of using a toothbrush but that sounds impractical because it would be too harsh. Prior to exfoliation I apply beeswax lip balm (hunters honey farm). I do not have any connection with this company; I just heard that beeswax is a good balm. It does not help me through out the day but it helps a lot with exfoliation. I buy the unflavored of course. I also try to stay hydrated and not self conscious about my condition.
If this condition is not readily curable then maybe we can all help each other to manage it maturely. I used just about every other product around but this seems to work
the best for "me". So please post what has helped or hindered your condition in an organized manner...
