our middle daughter was the same way and didn't really speak up until after 3 years of age.We had her evalutated at the time and the first test the specialist said she
might be mildly retarded.We took her for tests again at around 5 years of age and
specialist was amazed at how much she had improved and just told us she was just
delayed.She is now 12 years old and quite smart in school but she still is behind
socially,she was diagnosed at 8 years old with Epilepsy so i'm convinced that this
and vacinations had a lot to do with her speech delay.Considering when we first heard that she was mildy retarded at 3 years of age she is nowhere near that now and
thank God because she really is quite unique.Hope your son is doing better.I just
realized this post is over a year old.How is he doing now?
