Gardeners are Natural Scientists

The majority of the individuals involved in the medical profession are good hearted and well intentioned, both doctors and pharmacists. But they have been brainwashed and bought into a system that was flawed from the beginning because it was inspired by a desire to maximize profit. And many are still currently in a state of denial, unwittingly pushing pills that will never work as well as the medicine nature designed, trusting in the FDA to eliminate the competition.

Question is, how far is the government willing to go to make sure people get prescriptions from doctors when they are sick, instead of taking responsibility for their own health? Will they make it illegal for people to plant a garden in the back yard, because they want to prevent anyone from growing garlic and sticking the cloves up their butt to get rid of pinworms?

A health care system based on the maximization of profit is the antithesis of a "do no harm" approach.

The best doctors and pharmacists are beginning to encourage patients to take vitamins and herbs in addition to prescriptions. Eventually, they will stop prescribing drugs, and just sell herbs. They know the herbs work better. That is why there is a world wide effort to regulate herbs now. The "health care industry" is trying to figure out how to insure people will continue going doctors. Their patented products didn't work, so now they want to prescribe herbs.

I have Thyme, Basil, Lavendar, Rosemary and Sage growing in my flower beds. How long will it be before I am considered an outlaw for growing my own medicine? When did the DEA start knocking on people's doors and arresting them for growing medicinal plants? Will I eventually need a prescription from a doctor and give it to the pharmacy department at the grocery store, if I want to buy more than one clove of garlic?
