Sore Throat cure worked!

Yesterday afternoon I started to expel excessive mucus and my throat began getting that irritated feeling. Prior to this I had been doing 98% raw foods for many days and a lot of OJ. By the evening my throat was sore & my glands swollen.

By the time I got to the "ask barefoot" forum it was rather late almost midnite. Usually when these symptoms appear I would take colloidial silver & it would go away quickly now I know better and sought out the natural cure. In the archived posts I found the remedy and it worked quite well.

I mixed up 3T of epsom salt in water & drank it, then squeezed 3 lemons into a half gallon of water and sipped that in the tub sweating for an hour. When I woke up my throat was still very sore. I did another round of this cure treatment then took a 3 mile walk in the outdoors. I know it says to rest but I needed some fresh air. After the walk I drank some OJ, later more hot lemon tea, some veggie broth and now my throat is starting to feel normal.

In a little over 24 hours my body is returning to equilibrium. I am still not 100% and will likely do another round in the AM but thanks to Nature's way I am healing quickly. In the past this was usually the beginning of a full on case of bronchitis. Now thanks to this forum I know what to do.

The irony of all this is I had planned to start an OJ fast on Monday & then I put it off. My body was telling me it was time and I didn't listen. Now I have been forced to obey the call to give myself a rest from food. The body talks to us the challenge is to listen despite all the distractions of modern culture. Tweet
