colonic speculum insertion

I have colonics regularly with a closed system and female therapist. Would it be all right to ask her to insert the speculum with me lying on my back and my knees pulled up to my chest rather than lying on my side? I realize that more would be exposed, but the insertion would be easier for me, based upon my experience with enemas. Also, I would be just as comfortable if I wasn't draped with a towel and I think the abdominal massage would be better. Is acceptable for one to be nude during a colonic?
