I would not agree to having dental sealants applied to anyone's teeth, especially children's teeth. The plastic sealant contains the dangerous plastic chemical, Bisphenol-A, which has been in the news lately because it is a hormone disruptor. To avoid this chemical, new mothers are now going back to using glass baby bottles to avoid having this chemical seep into their babies' formula.
