Re: Very inspiring post Scott!
EXACTLY RIGHT!! So many people fail to realize just how much their entire life course factors into their well-being.
When I tested HIV positive, I didn't beleive it meant anything at all. That was a tragic decision health-wise. Even though I do not believe that HIV itself was causing damage, at that moment I could have made a U-turn in reference to my eating and drinking habits. I did not do that, choosing instead to simply live as everyone around me.
Of course, everyone around me in my community is overweight, cancer-ridden, diabetes-ridden, and sinus and fungus infected. I imagine if we took a reading of everyone's CD4 counts, we would have a much clearer picture of just how unhealthy we all are because of the toxic influences around us and that which we consume for "food."
As I struggle to gain a foothold over my diet, I wish I had never made those choices to live like everyone else around me. Perhaps with some of these protocols, I can right these wrongs and live a longer and healthier life with the rest of you.
Take Care of yourselves!!!!!
