Re: Day 1...will need support

Hi Diedre! I just started my first day today also (not my first cleanse though) so I'd love as much support as I could get.

I just finished posting in Amber's thread. Here's what I had to say there:

I've started my post Thanksgiving Day fast today too. Would you mind a little company? I did an alternating juice/water fast a few months ago and had great success but then some life hardships came into play I did what I do best - I turned to food. So I've gained back all the weight I had lost and then some and now it's time for me to take charge of my life again. I'm starting with juice today - tomorrow will be water only and then back to juice on Sunday. I've found this alternating seems to keep my metabolism up compared to just straight juice or straight water fasting. I think it keeps my body "guessing".
The challenge for me will be post-fast when I need to incorporate a new way of healthy eating and not eating for comfort, especially when I'm stressed.
I'll post tomorrow morning with my results from today.
