Re: Permanent Damage, by MH
I agree with ya-- because it's best to start in babyhood. My sister has a fit when my nephew takes his shoes off and runs around barefoot, but when he stays at our home, I let him run around barefoot all he wants (the floor is vaccumed ahead of time.lol)
Yesterday he wouldnt eat any of the turkey stuffing and my sister had another fit, because he preferred to eat his salad. I made sure to put in my 2 cents that kids instinctively know what is good for them, but us well meaning adults warp their minds for life. I told her that the stuffing was the least nutritious of the entire meal, and he was eating more healthier than the rest of us at Thanksgiving. (that comment didn't sit too well with my mom...Oops!)
Of course my brother-in-law told me to mind my own business, etc... but I don't accept child abuse, even in regards to brainwashing.
My nephew sees me walking around barefoot all the time (thanks to your good influence in teaching me this here at Curezone ;-) and if not barefoot, then I'm in those massage reflexology flip/flops.
Have a nice Thanksgiving week!
