I suffer from a similar experience. I believe I was infected at a beach in Turkey near Cesme. They have jetty that goes out to an area that is like a hot springs, except it is out in the Mediterranean/Aegean. The floor is so hot that at times one has to remove his feet from the ocean floor for fear ones feet might burn. The water is heated quite comfortably and occasionally the cold sea will move some waves through and make the experience hot to lukewarm. As I was getting out of the water (and onto the jetty) I was splashed by a wave and hit the rocks with my chest and forearm. A few hours later the area was slightly swollen as if infected. The infection came a went a couple of times, but by the end of the month I started getting "pimples" that wouldn't go away, and try as I might to remove them then just became more infected. Four years later they are still plaguing me and only in the exact same area. I would appreciate any insight anyone has into what I believe is a parasitic infection, especially if anyone has any idea what a remedy would look like. Thanks
