memories

Hi I am hoping for some clarity and balance with something that I see clearly but perhaps my mind has conflict with.

1.
Lately I often find myself having vivid sensory memories. It is usually when I close my eyes this occurs. For example what prompted this post was that I just found myself recalling how nice it was when I used to share a home with someone. I saw this person in great detail in my minds eye and recalled certain things we did together and how I felt etc.... Recently the other morning I awoke and thought that I should get my microscope down from the shelf for I have not used it for a while..

Thing is I have never in this lifetime lived with such a person as I recalled, (though I feel I may desire to) nor have I owned a microscope. (though I have always wanted one)

On one level I interpret these things that present as memories to be saying that my desire or wishful thinking is to live with such a person and that I need to examine some things up closely as with a microscope. Should examination go any further such as past/concurrent life? or is is it the former?

2.
I did yesterday morning have what felt like a past life experience in dream form, actually 2 companion dreams. Without writing out the entire dream, it involved being in a large yet very old chateau home, with a group of other people. The group of people were composed of family members and friends. Several times as I would lead people downstairs I would feel a vibrational shift and we would go back in time but remain in the same house. The same group of people were there each time and I recognized them though they had differing appearance, yet they did not recognize me. I went through 3 such shifts each time seemingly going back further in time. At the end I was up holding a large pointer gesticulating and giving a revolutionary speech to the people who were crouched in a basement/cellar. (There was detail at this point of the dream for me to see)

After the first shift I was speaking english, after the second I was speaking what I felt to be spanish at first, then I somehow realized that I was portuguese, then I shifted to french and finally another eastern dialect. In the dreams I somehow realized that this did not mesh with what was supposed to be and these thoughts seemed to anchor me more into the dream.

So again on one level when I examine the actual detail of the dream I left out, I would interpret that it was just me going into the subconscious and perhaps dealing with repressed things except for the very powerful vibrational shifts that occurred. On what level might these occurences be interpreted?
