Colostrum by itself does not have any negative affect against any autoimmune conditions whatsoever, it fact it would be beneficial. Probably what they're referring to are the other herbs.
For example, when I was first diagnosed by a doctor with what he thought was Hashimotos Thyroiditis, I found Astragalus and even herbs like Echinacea to be slightly irritating and causing inflammation, which actually was not from the herbs themselves.
Now that I'm getting better I am finding that is not the case at all and have no problems taking them. I believe that "Autoimmune" diagnoses are just a catch-all diagnoses for other underlying illnesses.
I wouldn't worry too much about their verbage because yes, it's only a legal disclaimer.
